The protection of your personal data is of particular concern to us. We therefore process your data exclusively on the basis of the applicable legal provisions (GDPR, DSG, TKG). With this privacy policy, we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing on our website.

Scope of application

This privacy policy applies to the use of all services and information offered on weltmeister.cc and therefore also applies to the use of all sub-pages and sub-sites.

Data that we process

  1. All data that you voluntarily provide to us as a user in order to use our services (e.g. newsletter registration, uploading data to company profiles and your personal profile, ...) are processed on the basis of your consent: Registration for the newsletter, uploading data to company profiles and to your personal profile, ...) we process on the basis of your consent to provide the services you use. The processing takes place on the basis of the user agreement, which must be accepted as a prerequisite for the use of individual services on our websites.
  2. The data you provide is required to fulfill the contract or to carry out pre-contractual measures. Without this data, we cannot conclude or/and execute the contract with you. (e.g.: we process your data for order creation and transmission, for the creation and sending of your access data,...). The consents granted can be revoked at any time.   3. We process data that is publicly known (sources: e.g: Homepage of the respective company; publicly accessible directories such as: the company register).
  4. All entries and information that are sent to us by filling in forms offered on our website are stored.
  5. We process data when you register for or log in to one of our services. For example, registration for the newsletter, registration/registration for the community. We process this data in such cases: IP address, time of access, contract version of the privacy policy and terms of use to which you have consented. This data is not published or forwarded to third parties and is used for the purposes of internal documentation, statutory documentation obligations and combating misuse.
  6. Data through web analysis: Our website uses functions of web analysis services. Cookies are used for this purpose, which make it possible to analyze the use of the website by its users. You generate this data by using our services and under certain circumstances it is possible to establish a personal reference. You can prevent this by setting up your browser so that no cookies are stored. The collection of data helps us to offer all users - i.e. interested parties and providers - a user-friendly, efficient and secure website. Specifically, we use the data to monitor the flow of visitors and to analyze the performance of the website. Subsequently, the data is evaluated in order to optimize the content with regard to user behavior and to prevent possible misuse. This data is stored for an indefinite period, but at least for as long as it is necessary to provide the services. The following data is collected for this purpose: Your IP address, time of access, previously visited pages, browser type, installed software and terminal device type.

Services that we use to process data

We use cookies (see point 2. f). Cookies are small text files that are stored by a website server on the user's computer or other devices for Internet use. The user's web browser sends these cookies back to the website on each visit. This makes it possible to identify the user when they visit the site again and to store information about user preferences. Every user is free to delete the cookies stored on their computer or to make the appropriate browser settings. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of our website may be restricted.

Web usage data is passed on or transferred to our service providers as part of a defined order. Service providers to whom we transfer data for the fulfillment of orders are obliged to use the data lawfully and securely. This data may only be used within the scope of the order placed with them. All necessary data security measures are taken.

Newsletter

You have the option of subscribing to our newsletter service. To do this, we need your e-mail address, your name and your declaration that you agree to receive the newsletter service.

In order to provide you with targeted information, we also collect and process voluntary information on your date of birth, company name, function, telephone number, address, city and country.

As soon as you have registered for the newsletter, we will send you an e-mail with a link to confirm your registration. From the time you confirm the registration link, you will receive the newsletters you have subscribed to from us on the respective publication dates.

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time. You can either use the unsubscribe link at the end of the newsletter or send us your informal unsubscribe request to the e-mail address datenschutz@medianet.at zukommen. Wir stellen anschließend die Zustellung ein.

Other disclosure of data to third parties

We only pass on personal data to third parties if this is necessary in order to provide the services offered or agreed or to transmit information.

Other websites

It should be noted that the present data protection guidelines no longer apply if weltmeister.cc is left via a link and another website is accessed. This also applies in particular to websites to which there is a link on weltmeister.cc.

Data transmission and data security

It is well known that the transmission of data via the Internet and its storage is not one hundred percent secure. We make every effort to protect transmitted data. Nevertheless, the security of data transmitted to us cannot be fully guaranteed. Any transmission of data by the respective user is therefore at the user's own risk. Strict security regulations and procedures as well as security functions are implemented for data received in order to prevent unauthorized third parties from gaining access.

The operators of weltmeister.cc are not liable for data retrieved by users from the Internet, nor for e-mails received (nor for viruses contained therein). Furthermore, they are not liable for the services of third parties, even if the user obtains access to these via a link from the weltmeister.cc website. The user acknowledges that the use of the Internet is associated with many uncertainties (e.g. viruses, Trojans, attacks by hackers, compromise of WLAN systems and mobile devices, etc.). It is the responsibility of each individual user to decide what data they view and/or upload to their computer.

Storage period/deletion period

We store your data until the point in time at which we receive a request for deletion. This does not apply to data arising from a contractual relationship, which is stored in accordance with the statutory provisions (§132(1) BAO, §§190, 212 UGB, §18(2) UStG) until the end of the 7th year after its creation.

Your rights

You can request information about the data stored about you free of charge at any time and without giving reasons. To do so, please contact datenschutz@medianet.at.

The data subject has the right:

  1. to request confirmation as to whether personal data concerning them is being processed and, if so, to request information about this personal data (right of access);
  2. to demand the immediate rectification and, taking into account the purposes of the data processing, the completion of the personal data concerning them (right to rectification);
  3. to demand the immediate erasure of personal data concerning them; this request for erasure must be complied with in the cases provided for by law (right to erasure, right to be forgotten);
  4. to demand the restriction of processing in the cases provided for by law (right to restriction);
  5. to receive the personal data concerning them, which they have provided to us, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and have the right to transmit those data to another controller without hindrance or, where technically feasible, to have them transmitted directly (right to data portability);
  6. The data subject also has the right to object to data processing for the purpose of direct marketing at any time with effect for the future (right to object).

The competent supervisory authority in Austria is the data protection authority.
